" At the center of your being you have the answers; you know who you are and you know what you want. "    Lao Tzu

Each experience with Horse is unique.  Their gifts offer us a powerful way to learn about who we are through reflection, connection, and grounding. The interaction with these amazing beings can open up the possibilies for us to transform how we understand our inner self, our story, discover our inate knowing, and ulitmately change how we interact with our world.

Personal

We are the sum total of our experinces combined with our personalities, it's what makes us who we are. Our understanding and perception of those experiences drives how we interact with our world and creates the story we tell ourselves.

Understanding this story allows us to make more directed and conscious decisions.

Professional

Our personal and professional lives are more interconnected than we think.

We spend a large portion of our lives at work.  It supports us financially and is an integral part of how we live.  It holds a greater impact on who we are more than most of us would think.

Leadership

I have learned that being a leader is having the ability to create a vision and then inspire those around you to follow it on their own volition.

Leading for me is bringing a group together, showing them the goal, and allowing them to arrive at it under their own power and thinking.

What Concepts We Work With

  • Mind / Body Connection
  • Left brain versus right brain

  • Herd mentality - thrive versus survive and group interaction
  • Learning how to emotionally connect with ourselves and others
  • Congruency
  • Emotional agility and intelligence
  • Open conversation
  • Communication is the relationship

What is it like to work with Horses

Everyone who comes in contact and works with horses will have a unique and individualized experience. But each will hold a common theme of connecting with that part of you that has been largely ignored and underutilized - the emotional self.

For me working with horses is magical, there is just no other way to describe it. It opens up a side of me that has been dormant and un-nurtured. This side allows me to expand my way of thinking about the world and hold a more complete and deeper understanding of where I fit, approach, and react to situations and people.
